I am so in awe of Patricia Grace, Witi Ihimaera and Haare Williams after attending Tui Tui Tuhia - a wānanga for Māori writers. They are all so lovely and open about their experiences as writers. Gems of wisdom and advice tumbled from their lips as we were invited to ask questions. Haare wrote a poem - Wit and Grace - an apt title for the uber-successful pair. Softly spoken, uplifting
and humble, these trailblazers still give up their weekends to impart their knowledge to the following generations. Thank you from all of us.
So in awe of you attending and being able to meet these great writers and literary giants.
